Well, cloud computing certainly makes sense for collaborative efforts. However, the running dual themes of privacy and security/safety while being active online always come to the fore for me. I know that I need to get over this skittishness.
Any online activity, like Go-To-Meeting or wikis or GoogleDocs make so much sense for the workplace; even for personal use such as the planning a camping trip example that was used in the CC video for wikis.
Online personal calendars also make sense if one is always online or has a B-Berry. Also a communal calendar seems appropriate for group planning.
The professional and personal uses for these apps. are obvious.
